Another scam circulating over the SMS is luring overseas Filipino workers who use (OFWs) roaming mobile numbers. According to a post in OFWGuide Forum a certain Atty. De Guzman claiming he is from the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office will send an SMS informing the prospective victim that he won in an electronic raffle for OFWs with roaming numbers amounting Php3m. He will ask you to deposit 1percent of the price through a money transfer service before you can claim it. Then after he received the money he will be gone.
