Filipino workers are still the most wanted foreign workers in Bahrain. According to Prime Minister Shaikh Khalifa Salman Al Khalifa, they want more “hardworking” Filipino workers, particularly salesladies for the Middle East state’s shopping malls.
“We really want more Filipinos because they are all hardworking,” the Prime Minister said.
“We have no problem with Filipinos. We should have more of them,” he added.
Meanwhile, Saudi King Abdullah will send a “high level” business mission to the Philippines to look at possible agriculture investments, a separate Palace statement said, quoting Agriculture Secretary Arthur Yap.
The business mission will include representatives from the Saudi ministries of agriculture, commerce, and foreign affairs, Yap said, adding Saudi leaders noted Arroyo’s “high level of credibility and rapport” with them.
